- 2 Two large pita bread slices which can be toasted or fried to crisp
- 1 One large head of Romaine salad cut into pieces
- 2 medium cucumbers, diced
- 3 medium tomatoes cut into pieces
- A small onion is cut thinly
- 4 radishes, finely cut
- 1 cup chopped parsley
- ½ cup fresh mint leaves
- 2 tsp sumac
- Salt or pepper to suit your taste
Make Pita Chips: Slice pita bread in smaller triangles. Grill or bake them to ensure that they are crisp as well as golden.
Chop vegetables: Combine chopped lettuce cucumbers, tomatoes, onions and radishes into an enormous salad bowl.
Include Herbs: Add fresh mint leaves and parsley to give an added flavor and aroma.
Dressing: In a small bowl, mix together olive oil as well as garlic, lemon juice, Pomegranate Molasses (optional) and sumac, salt and pepper.
Make your Salad: Pour the dressing over the chopped herbs and vegetables, and mix everything until everything is well coated.
